I ordered a Special Delivery item. What do I need to know?

Cybbay.com has fast and efficient Professional Home Delivery Personnel who - in most locations - will bring the Special Delivery products you buy online safely to your home. In some cases, the carrier will place the item(s) in a specific area of your home upon your request.

Actual shipping charges will appear in the "Review & Payment" step of the checkout process. Please remember that you cannot select Special Delivery items for Store Pickup or Expedited shipping.

We will confirm your level of service at the time we schedule your delivery as services will vary by location. A Special Delivery Notification email will confirm your level of service, and will fall into one of two categories: Remote or Local.

1. Remote Delivery

View the subject line of your delivery notification email. If you’re scheduled for remote delivery, you can expect:

  • A personal phone call from one of our representatives who will set up the delivery appointment for you.

Please note: There is no recycling offered for remote deliveries.

2. Local Delivery

If your delivery is local, you’ll receive an email after your order has been processed notifying you of a suggested delivery date. With local delivery, you can expect the following services:

  • An automated call the night before your delivery which helps narrow the window of time for your scheduled delivery. You will also be notified of any delays.
  • The driver will do a pre-walkthrough of your home to determine any pre-existing conditions and placement of your ordered items.
  • If you ordered an HDTV, the driver will open the box so you can inspect the product. The TV will be left in its carton to ensure it remains secure and will not be mounted or hooked up to any external units such as Blu-ray/DVD players, home theatres, etc.
  • If you ordered a home theatre system package, your delivery will be brought to your door.
  • If the item being delivered is replacing an older model, our delivery personnel will relocate the older model to another part of your home, as long as there is unobstructed access. We will also move the old item at no extra charge to the curb for municipal pickup. If you would like us to take the older model away, we can do so for a recycling fee. Details about your options surrounding relocation and recycling of older units are available in your delivery notification email.
  • Our delivery specialists take proper care of your home and premises by using carpet runners and footwear protectors to prevent dirt from entering your home.
  • In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, our delivery personnel will discuss options with you.
